TIL I learned about two models for how to give effective feedback. The first of them is the SBI model which statnds for Situation, Behavior and Impact. The feedback should be like “In {some situation}, you did {some thing} which made me feel {somehow}

Situation when, where with whom Behavior what happened Impact what was the effect

The other model for giving feedback I learned is FAST.

F - frequent A - accurate S - specific T - timely

These two models can easily be combined since SBI is a way of formatting the feedback and FAST is much more about how and what the feedback should be.
